.tel short names now in General Availability

The General Availability phase for two character and numeric-only .tel domain names opened on June 14. The .tel registry is now accepting applications on first-come first-served basis.

ICANN recently approved the release of both short (such as jj.tel) and numeric-only (such as 442074676450.tel or 888.tel) .tel domain names for registration. More details on the launch will be supplied as soon as they become available.
